THE DESIGN STUDIO
Our own studio, our own printers
Matter Made Studio is an industrial design studio in Mandaluyong City, founded and owned by Chuck Dela Rama. We draw the part, print it, and finish it by hand — design, production and finishing all happen under one roof.
What we do
Design, development, fabrication
THE DESIGN STUDIO covers the whole distance from a conversation to a finished object. Some clients need all of it; most need two or three steps.
Industrial design
Form, ergonomics, and how a thing is meant to be handled.
Product development
From idea to something you can hold, test, and change your mind about.
3D printing
FDM on our own printers, in PETG. Settings set per part, not one profile for everything.
Teaching
Workshops that hand the process over instead of keeping it mysterious.

The process
Original designs, personally fabricated
Four steps, every time — whether it's for the shop or a one-off for a client.
Design
Drawn around the job it has to do.
Fabrication
Printed on our machines in Mandaluyong.
Finishing
Hand work, part by part.
Quality check
Fit and finish before it leaves.
The workshop
Machines, materials, and a bench
We print in PETG, not PLA. It holds up five years or more instead of about three — which matters for a jig you'll use every race, or a case that lives in a bag. If a job needs a process we don't have, we'll say so instead of approximating it.
Everything is FDM. The part that makes things fit isn't the printer — it's calipers, hand tools, and time.
Who you are talking to
A small studio, on purpose
When you message about an order or send a custom brief, you're talking to the people who'll draw and print it. As long as we're awake, the store is open.
Where we are
