Three steps. Plain questions.

Most people don't know how to spec a part yet. That's normal — the form explains each field as it asks, and filling it in doesn't commit you to anything.

What does it need to do, and where does it live? Describe the job, not the shape.
Anything it must fit, mount to, or sit alongside. Brand and model if you know it.
Rough is fine. Measure the thing it has to fit, not the thing you want.
One to try, or a run? It changes how we make it.
Not sure? Say what it has to survive — heat, sunlight, oil, being dropped.
A range is enough. It tells us which approach is realistic.
When you need it in your hands, and whether that date is hard.
Photos, sketches on paper, a link, or a STEP/STL file — whatever you have.
So we know who we are talking to.
Whichever you actually check.

How a project runs

Brief, drawing, print, hand it over

You see it at every stage. Nothing goes to production until you've seen and approved the prototype.

Brief

We read the form, ask what is missing, and agree on what success looks like.

Design

Drawn in CAD, with the geometry driven by how the part gets used.

Prototype

Printed and tested. If it is wrong, that is what this step is for.

Handover

Finished, checked, delivered or picked up — with the files if that is part of the deal.
